This machine has been specially developed to fasten two aluminum parts together. Light steel parts can also be attached together.

The Accu-Clinch uses a bottom punch and top die to press form (clinch) the two pieces together. For channel letters this machine will attach the aluminum back to the aluminum side wall return. At a rate of about 40 clinches per minute, an operator can attach a back to a standard 400 mm high letter in about two minutes.
There are no consumables used for attaching the letter back to the side wall return (no rivets, staples, or stitch material).
